Girl fails exam, immolates self

VILLUPURAM: D. Sangeetha (18), of Ammai Agaram at Kallakurichi near here, reportedly immolated herself after failing in the Plus Two examinations.

Sangeetha with her younger sister, Saranya (17), daughters of Duraisamy, an ex-serviceman, appeared for the examinations.

While Saranya came out successfully, Sangeetha did not. The victim died after being admitted in a hospital in Chennai.
