CHENNAI: The results of the SSLC examination held in March-April this year will be released by the first week of June. ``The work of printing the mark sheets has commenced and there will be no delay in releasing the results,'' D. Jagannathan, Director of Government Examinations, told reporters here on Friday. A total of 1,900 candidates had applied for xerox copies of answer sheets in six subjects in the Plus-Two examinations, the results of which were announced recently. Over 350 application forms for retotalling of marks had been sold as on Friday. The last date for submission of retotalling and revaluation applications was May 24. ``If students applied for revaluation, it would take care of retotalling too. However, students also risk losing some of the marks they have already scored. Many students are unable to have a proper assessment of their own performance,'' Mr. Jagannathan said. Two new printers had been installed at the Government Data Centre to facilitate speedy printing of the SSLC mark sheets, he said.
