NEW DELHI: The third-seeded Indian boys beat the fourth-seeded Thailand and finished seventh in the Asia-Oceania World Junior under-14 tennis tournament in Melbourne on Saturday. The Indian girls ended up tenth. The results: Boys: India bt Thailand 2-1 (Yuki Bhambri bt Hemyakorn Pongsakorn 6-1, 6-3; Christopher Marcus lost to Chumpet Pattrayu 1-6, 0-6; Yuki Bhambri and Christopher Marcus bt Chumpet Pattrayu and Wichayaketsophorn Pao 6-4, 6-4). Girls: Hong Kong bt India 2-1 (Chun Wing Sher lost to G. Janaki 5-7, 3-6; Geraldine Leong bt Sweta Solanki 6-1, 6-1; Geraldine Leong and Chun Wing Sher bt G. Janaki and Sweta Solanki 6-0, 6-2).
