Coimbatore: Despite the stiff opposition, Sarosh Hataria (Formula LGB) and Amitrajit Gosh (Formula Maruti) managed to take the pole in the second leg of the JK Tyre National racing championship qualifying races at the Kari Motor Speedway at Chettipalayam, near here, on Saturday. The first qualifying race in the Formula LGB category turned out to be a tight affair with the top five being separated by just fractions of a second. However, it was purely Sarosh's brilliance that fetched him the pole position. In the Formula Maruti category, Amitrajit beat the challenge of a fighting Rayomand Banajee for the pole in both the races. Qualifying results: Esteem (Race 1): 1. Ayub Khan 01:20:617, 2.
