Body to mobilise fund for rrigation projects

HYDERABAD:
The Government has decided to form a separate irrigation and power finance corporation to mobilise resources for implementing irrigation projects. This will be in addition to the Water Resources Development Corporation that has been functioning for the past few years. A status paper, prepared by the Congress on irrigation for internal circulation, which was made available here on Saturday, gave an update of the works in progress on different projects.
