Woman dies in accident

CHENNAI:
A 45-year-old woman died after she was run over by a bus on the Inner Ring Road near Tirumangalam on Saturday.
The police said the victim, Sebastiammal, was on her way home on a motorcycle with her husband Royar . When they were crossing the bridge near Koyambedu, an Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation bus hit the vehicle from behind, throwing both off the vehicle.
Sebastiammal was caught under the wheel of the bus and died on the spot. Mr. Royar escaped with minor injuries.
The bus driver was arrested.
