RTC union leaders seek Naidu's help

JAC representatives seek Naidu's help in opposing privatisation move

HYDERABAD: Representatives of the Joint Action Committee of APSRTC unions have said that they will organise a meeting here on May 28 to chalk their future course of action in the wake of moves to private the corporation.

The representatives met the TDP president, N. Chandrababu Naidu, here on Saturday and sought his support to oppose attempts by the Government to privatise the loss-making corporation.

Leaders of the National Mazdoor Union, the Transport Mazdoor Sangh and the Staff and Workers Federation told Mr. Naidu that they were against the move to sell away properties belonging to the RTC.

They invited Mr. Naidu for the May 28 meeting.
