CLP sees plot to create mayhem
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD:
The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has accused the TDP of plotting to create further disturbances in Penukonda during the by-elections to win the seat. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, G. Muddukrishnama Naidu and V. Vasanth Kumar, said the TDP was afraid that it would lose the Assembly seat to the Congress Party because people of Penukonda were fed up with factional violence. The Congress' choice of a non-factional candidate had come in for wide acceptance in the constituency, they claimed.
The violence unleashed by Paritala's aides at the behest of TDP leaders on the day Suneeta filed her nomination had been condemned, the leaders said.
