Power shutdown in some parts of city today

BANGALORE: There will be no power supply on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in areas coming under R.R. Nagar sub-station as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. (BESCOM) is undertaking maintenance work of F-5 feeder.

Areas that will be affected are Gane Kallu, Srinivasapura (Uttarahalli Main Road), Kengeri Old Town (H. Hollahalli), Kodipalya, Chikkagowdanapalya and Doddabele.

There will be no power between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in Electronic City Phase 1 and 2, Wipro, Infosys, Siemens, Hosur Road, Govindashetty Palya, Doddathogur, Ckihhathogur, Parappana Agrahara, Basapura and surrounding areas, parts of Bommanahalli, Singasandra, MICO Software, Central Jail, Naganathapura and surrounding areas and Chennakeshavanagar. BESCOM said there would be no power supply between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Main Industrial Town, parts of Agrahara Dasarahalli, parts of Magadi Main Road and surrounding areas as it is taking up "reconductoring" work of F-3 feeder of NRS station.
