In another case, Anamani, an employee in the nursing home, was asked to pay Rs. 4.5 lakhs following a promise by the doctor to register a house in Kancharapalem in her name in 2001. He then allegedly committed a breach of promise by getting it registered in his wife's name. When challenged after resigning from the job on April 17, he gave two cheques to her.

Trinadha Rao, who claimed that he was a childhood friend of the doctor, alleged that he had served a legal notice on Dr. Nageswara Rao for his failure to repay Rs. 5 lakhs.
