The museum, inaugurated by child artist Shreya Mangalur, showcases different cultures of the world. The Rotary Bangalore Midtown, in association with Bal Bhavan, the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation and the Prestige Group, has collected the dolls from 55 countries. Several children and their parents, who visited the Bal Bhavan on Sunday, were seen enjoying the exhibition. The museum has dolls from Australia, Austria, Botswana, Chile, Germany, Japan, Kenya, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Suresh Heblikar, environmentalist, who launched the `Bangalore - Bring Back Birds' campaign on the occasion suggested that the State Government should contemplate setting up information technology firms in other cities. "This will help in controlling pollution in Bangalore and also provide employment opportunities to people in those cities," he said.
