Was it avoidable?

While strongly condemning the bomb blasts in two cinema houses of Delhi, one also wonders why the Government and the film Censor Board should not have been more receptive to the objection of the Sikh community to the film Jo Bole So Nihal. Sometimes sentiments do overrule reason, especially in matters pertaining to religious faith. When the screening of the controversial film was withdrawn by distributors from the cinemas in Punjab and Haryana within hours of the SGPC demanding a ban on it, why was it screened in Delhi which has a sizeable Sikh population?
