Search for three in assault case

TUTICORIN: The Tiruchendur Temple police are on the lookout for three persons, who had allegedly attacked Kamaraj (36) at Tiruchendur on Sunday.

Police sources said Ekandakumar, Baskaran and Lingam had a verbal duel with Kamaraj over some trivial issues owing to which the trio assaulted the complainant with liquor bottles and stones. Kamaraj was later treated at a private hospital.

Arrested

The police arrested a 33-year-old man on the charge of stealing a motorbike belonging to Napolean (40) here on Monday.

According to police sources, Natarajan lifted the vehicle, parked near Tuticorin new bus stand here.
