Preparations on for election of AICC president

NEW DELHI: Preparations were afoot in right earnest on Tuesday at the headquarters of the AICC for election of the party president. There were no indications till date of anyone opposing incumbent Sonia Gandhi's candidature. Still, with a number of nominations being expected to be filed in support of Ms. Gandhi's candidature as an expression of loyalty to the high command, elaborate arrangements were being made to deal with the number of delegates expected to swarm the headquarters on Wednesday.
