4 die of sunstroke in Nalgonda district

NALGONDA: Four persons died of sunstroke in Nalgonda district on Tuesday. According to information reaching here, two daily wage labourers --Gorla Buchaiah (70) and Puli Sugunaiah (60) -- of Pedda Adisarlapally mandal died after coming from their workplace.

J. Madhu (32) of Sundarnagar in Miryalaguda town and an unidentified person in Yadagirigutta were the other two victims.

Meanwhile, water has been oozing out from a rock in Nereda in Chityala mandal, much to the surprise of villagers.

They attribute it to the heat wave. Some villagers were reportedly performing pooja to the rock.
