CUDDAPAH: The Cuddapah police booked cases of abduction against the Telugu Yuvatha State Secretary, C. Sasi Kumar, brother of the Rajya Sabha member, C. Ramachandraiah and the Cuddapah Market Committee vice-chairman, C. Murali, of the TDP, based on mutual complaints. The Cuddapah One Town police registered a case of kidnap and illegal detention against Sasi Kumar, his brother, Ramkumar, their nephews, Ramganesh and Deepthi Kumar, and four others on charges of abducting Murali's brother, Suresh, and detaining him on Monday night. Suresh's motorcyle was found in Sasi Kumar's house, which led to booking of the case, the police said. Meanwhile, the MP's nephew, Ramganesh, lodged a counter complaint in Cuddapah II Town police station alleging that the market committee vice-chief and six others kidnapped and assaulted him near Cuddapah aerodrome and a case was registered.
