MUMBAI: An 18-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Lokhandwala in suburban Andheri, sources said. The girl, Swati Patnaik, hanged herself over her fears of examination results which were to be announced soon. Swati had appeared for Class XII exams from Jamnagar in Gujarat and had moved to city a few months back following her father's transfer. This is the second suicide by a student in the past one week.
