PACET applications

The applications for Planning and Architecture Common Entrance Test (PACET-2005) are available at the JNTU School of Planning and Architecture, Masab Tank. The last date of sale and receipt of applications is May 28 after which a late fee of Rs. 500 would be charged up to June 4. The test is on June 26. Students with Maths and English as subjects of exams in Intermediate and diploma in any branch are eligible for Bachelor of Architecture while candidates with any subject are eligible for Bachelor of Planning (Town and Country planning) courses.

Competitions

The AP Pollution Control Board in association with Jawahar Bal Bhavan is conducting competitions for children at Indira Priyadarshini auditorium, Public Gardens on May 25. Contests in painting and clay modelling will commence from 9 a.m.

Bumper draw

The bumper draw for Tirumala Music Centre's "TMC-Onida-Alto Car" offer will be held at 8 p.m. at Sridhar function plaza, Khairtabad on Wednesday. The offer was for the first 100 customers and the bumper prize is a Maruti Alto car.

Rank-holders

A student of Narayana Junior College, R. Vishali Reddy (hall ticket No. 340383), has secured the fifth rank in the All-India level examination for Engineering admissions, conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

The other students from the Institution who secured ranks are Sushma (29th rank), K. Nikhil Srikanth (49th rank), B. Hari Krishna (59th rank) and B. Lingamaneni (68th rank), according to a press release.
