This Day That Age
Mr. C.N. Annadurai, DMK leader , said in Madras on May 24 that important political decisions, including the question of the party participating in the ensuing general elections, would be taken at the DMK provincial conference to be held at Tiruchi. He was addressing a meeting held at the Gokhale Hall under the auspices of the Madras District DMK to collect funds for holding the conference. Referring to the attempts made by certain MLAs to effect a rapprochement between the Dravida Kazhagam and the DMK, Mr. Annadurai pointed out that there were fundamental differences between the two.
