TIRUVARUR: The Collector, P. Ekambaram, said that 7,100 free bi-cycles will be distributed this year to students belonging to Backward, Most Backward and Denotified classes in the district. He announced this at a mass contact programme at Odacheri village in Tiruvarur taluk on Tuesday. The Collector gave away house site pattas to 20 persons, old age pension orders to seven persons. He received 133 petitions during the camp.
