CHENNAI: Aspire Learning Company Pvt. Ltd., engaged in providing training to students for the IIT-JEE, AIEEE and TNPCEE examinations, has acquired 60 per cent equity stake in Scholars' League India Pvt. Ltd. The acquisition would see Aspire Learning to cater to a new segment, the UG and PG students, according to K. Swaminathan, Director. Through this acquisition, Scholars' League will gain in expertise in scaling up and managing franchise operations as the network will expand and students from remote areas will now be able to avail themselves of the different programmes at affordable prices. Neelesh Asati, CEO, Scholars' League, said the company would benefit through this knowledge transfer in terms of the business and operational processes and systems.
