Man hacked to death

Staff Reporter

ANANTAPUR: A person was allegedly hacked to death by his first wife and her father at Tarakarama Nagar in Dharmavaram on Tuesday night. Parts of the chopped body were found at two places on Wednesday.

According to the police, Vadde Sathyaiah (45) was married to two women and was living at Rajendra Nagar.

He allegedly used to torture his first wife, Laxmidevi. Unable to bear the torture she has been living with her parents for the last few months.

But, Sathyaiah kept torturing Laxmidevi even at her parents' place.

The police searched for Sathyaiah and found his body, on a complaint lodged by his sister.

The police arrested Laxmidevi and Ganenna.
