Nine naxals surrender

WARANGAL: Nine naxalites belonging to the CPI (Maoist), Praja Prathighatana, Prathighatana, Janashakti and CPUSI surrendered before the Superintendent of Police, M. S. Ravindra, here on Wednesday.

They include one commander and one deputy commander.

Lingam Trupath alias Thathanna of Ankushapur village of Katapur mandal, Karimnagar district worked for the Maoist party for more than 10 years and was involved in several cases. He cited personal reasons for his surrender.
