Two naxals killed in encounter

WARANGAL:
Two naxals belonging to the CPSUI group were killed in an encounter near Kamalapur village in Mangapet mandal here on Wednesday evening.
According to information reaching here, some naxals were camping at the AP Rayons factory and resorting to extortion from local businessmen when a special police team reached the factory site around 4.30 pm. On seeing the police, the frightened naxals opened fire.
The police retaliated and in the exchange of fire that ensued, two naxals were killed. They were identified as CPSUI Sampath squad deputy commander Ch Ravi and squad member D Ravi. The police recovered four kit bags and three weapons from the spot - two 9mm pistols and one .8mm rifle.
