NEW DELHI: Delhi High Court summoned the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Delhi Jal Board to be personally present before the court tomorrow, on a petition seeking direction to the Board to call for a status report on sewer lines in the Capital. A division bench of Chief Justice B C Patel and Justice S K Kaul directed the officer to explain the reasons why an earlier order by the single bench was allegedly not complied with. ``If the work had been done as per the order, the Board was directed to file an affidavit for such compliance'', the Bench further ordered. Petitioner, the Federation of Residents Welfare Association of Rajouri Garden in West Delhi alleged that the Board without proper planning had granted the contract for laying of the new pipe lines for which the digging of roads had started resulting in inconvenience to the residents of the area. -UNI
