Protest in front of KFC restaurant

BANGALORE: Animal rights activists under the banner of People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) on Wednesday staged a demonstration in front of the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurant on Commercial Street here.

Activists holding placards with slogans against cruelty to animals lined up in front of the KFC outlet and handed out leaflets to protest "the abusive treatment of chickens used for KFC's restaurants."
