HYDERABAD: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a new Microsoft-TCS offer of a "New Store Opening" (NSO) solution designed to give project managers a better insight into the process through enterprise reporting. A TCS release said NSO addressed numerous issues and challenges that a retailer may face, including lack of communication and collaboration across project teams, unstructured document repositories, delays with new and remodelled stores and corporate governance and compliance pressures. Venguswamy Ramaswamy, TCS Global Head for Process Consulting Solutions, said new store openings and remodels were instrumental for revenue growth but that many companies approached the process with a haphazard set of tools and processes, which mostly failed to account for new requirements.
