BHADRAVATI: "The byelection to the Shimoga Lok Sabha Constituency has been caused by the former Chief Minister S. Bangarappa's opportunistic politics, the former Minister H.C. Srikantaiah has said. Speaking at a press conference here on Wednesday, he said Mr. Bangarappa, despite benefiting immensely from the Congress, joined the BJP and left it for the Samajwadi Party.
