NABARD submits report on bank

CHENNAI:
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has completed the inspection of the Sivaganga District Central Cooperative Bank and submitted its report to the Reserve Bank of India. A copy of the report has been forwarded to the bank.
Based on the report, suggestions for remedying critical deficiencies in its working and its financial position have been made to the bank. Relaxations in the directions will be based on its response. The RBI has also kept the Tamil Nadu Government informed, a NABARD press release said.
