MADURAI: Madurai, inspired by Sekar's sterling display (39 points, nine three-pointers), beat Tirunelveli 64-44 in the basketball final of the TNEB regional games meet here on Wednesday. Chennai won the kabaddi title with a 24-19 win over Villupuram. In the semifinals, Chennai beat Vellore 38-19 and Villupuram got past Tiruchi 41-21.
