HYDERABAD: The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad's (MCH) annual summer coaching camps in divisions four and five ended with a colourful function at Red Hills Playground on Thursday. Over 690 playgrounds were involved in the MCH camps across the Twin Cities, with over 720 coaches overseeing the training in 49 disciplines. Mohd. Moazam Khan, MLA, Asifnagar, said the number of children at the camps was an indication that the popularity of the scheme was increasing. The MCH Commissioner, Sanjay Jaju, hoped the children would have picked up the basics of the sports they had chosen. The MCH Additional Commissioner, L. Vandana Kumar welcomed the gathering, while S.R. Prem Raj, MCH's Director of Sports, proposed the vote of thanks.
