PATHANAMTHITTA: The Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, will inaugurate the 100-bed Mannam Memorial Cooperative Ayurveda Hospital at Pandalam on May 29. Addressing a press conference on Thursday, the chairman of Mannam Sugar Mills Cooperative Limited (MSMCL), Pandalam Sivankutty, said that the hospital complex was part of the proposed Mannam Memorial Cooperative Ayurveda Medical College to come up on the 138-acre sprawling Mannam Sugar Mills premises. He said that the proposed ayurveda medical college project was estimated to cost Rs. 10 crores. The general secretary of the Nair Service Society, P.K. Narayana Panicker, will inaugurate the meeting. The Health Minister, K.K. Ramachandran, will inaugurate the ayurveda medical camp on the occasion.
