BSNL extends date

The pay-by-date for BSNL telephone bills dated May 7 has been extended from May 28 to May 30 for subscribers' convenience, according to the General Manager Telecom District.

Sanskrit literary feat

Noted scholar and principal of the Sanskrit College at Kovvuru, Dorbala Prabhakara Sarma, will perform an ashtavadhanam in Sanskrit to mark the third anniversary of Sahitya Surabhi, a literary organisation, at Kalabharati auditorium on Saturday, according to its president, V. Kalyana Rama Rao.

Fertility check-up

Rama Institute of Fertility will organise a free check-up for couples without children at Malu Clinic in Isukathota on Friday. Consultation and basic tests will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
