Two held on human trafficking charge

NEW DELHI: Two persons, including the wife of a former Army colonel, have been arrested by the New Delhi police for their alleged involvement in human trafficking.

According to the police, the First Secretary in the Embassy of Republic of Korea had on January 28 lodged a complaint regarding fake documents submitted by some people to obtain visas on the pretext of pursuing spiritual studies and for business purposes in Korea. The Korean authorities handed over 12 passports and other documents to the police for further investigations.
