Hitachi signs agreement with IBM

CHENNAI: Hitachi Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary Hitachi Data Systems and IBM have announced a technology licensing agreement intended to extend the interoperability and compatibility of their respective storage systems, servers and software. According to a release, the agreement is intended to make it easier for customers to install both Hitachi Data Systems and IBM products in their environments.
