`Dairy farming registers growth '

KASARAGOD: The Animal Husbandry Department, through its various programmes and projects implemented during the past four years, has achieved significant growth in the production of milk, egg and meat in the district, said the District Animal Husbandry Officer.

The department had imparted training to 1,286 dairy farmers in calf maintenance and conducted awareness camps.
