Vinay drubs Umakanth

ERODE: Youngster Vinay Kothari of Chennai struck form at the right moment to topple seasoned star K.S. Umakanth of Erode 68-38, 61-38, 51-40 in a group C match of the first anniversary snooker championship for the J.S. Sengunthar Trophy at the S.S. Sports Academy Hall here on Friday.

In Group A, favourite Prem Prakash of Coimbatore made it a clean sweep winning all his matches with relative ease.
