Inflation slips further to 5.55 p.c.
NEW DELHI:
Continuing its southward movement for the third consecutive week, the point-to-point rate of inflation, as measured by the wholesale price index (WPI), slipped further to 5.55 per cent for the week ended May 14 from the previous week's level of 5.61 per cent. In the like week a year ago, the inflation rate was 4.96 per cent.
