Home guard seriously hurt

ADILABAD: Mesram Tirupati (26), a home guard with Tiryani police station, was shot at and seriously injured on Friday by Mangi dalam members. The reason for making a bid on the home guard's life is not known. Three armed naxalites fired five rounds on him. Tirupati has been shifted to Hyderabad for treatment.
