Missing pastor last seen at telephone booth

HYDERABAD: A pastor, K. Isaac Raju, 45, who had gone missing from Tuesday night, was last seen by a telephone booth operator, the police said. Around 9.30 p.m. on that day, the pastor walked up to a person standing near the booth located a couple of hundred yards away from his house at Prashanthi Hills in Rayadurgam.

Raju had a brief chat with the stranger. Later, he sat pillion on the bike brought by the stranger and went along with him.

The booth operator told the police that the stranger was clad in a red T-shirt and bought a cigarette pack a few minutes before the pastor came.

Meanwhile, the Cyberabad police formed special teams to trace the missing pastor.

Meanwhile, the National Congress of Indian Christians Youth Wing has expressed shock at the reported disappearance of a pastor, Isaac Raju.

The organisation also demanded a judicial probe into the killing of another gospel preacher, K. Daniel.
