HYDERABAD: All roads led to Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Basheerbagh, on Friday as the institute played host to the MTV Hero Honda Roadies 3 auditions. The event saw participants engrossed in group discussions and stage events, to find a place in the team of bikers that will hit the road, as part of the reality show. "MTV Roadies started as a soft adventure show. We borrowed from Road Rules on MTV US. The on ground response for the event increased from 12,000 to 21,000 for the year while the TRP has doubled,.says Kartik Chintamani, director and executive producer, MTV Networks India Private Limited. The 13 finalists who would be selected from auditions held at other metros across the country will travel 2,500 km, from Jaisalmer to Leh, through Bikaner, Hissar, New Delhi-Faridabad, Rishikesh and Rohtang Pass-Kyelang. The seven finalists get Hero Honda Karizma each while the winner gets to take home Rs. 5,00,000 as well. The event was hosted by veejays Rannvijay, also MTV Roadies 1 winner, and Sophia.
