Tributes paid to Savarkar

NEW DELHI: Leader of the Opposition L.K. Advani on Saturday paid tributes to V.D. Savarkar's portrait on his 122nd birth anniversary at the Central Hall of Parliament. Among those present were MPs Sushma Swaraj, Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Jana Krishnamurthy, Vikram Verma, Pyarelal Khandelwal, Bhanwar Singh Dangawas, Khiren Rijiu, a release by the Lok Sabha Secretary said. Former member Subramaniam Swamy also paid tribute. — PTI
