Move to stop student bus passes flayed

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh committee of All-India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) has criticised the Government's alleged move to persuade the APSRTC to discontinue bus passes to students.

Girls worst hit

In a statement issued here on Saturday, T. Jyoti, president, and K. Swaruparani, secretary, said the move would affect students, particularly girls from villages.

They lambasted the Government for not reimbursing to the RTC the amount it spends on concessions extended to various sections of public.
