The editorial "Firm up support to Palestine" (May 26) has rightly pulled up the Manmohan Singh Government for its lack of enthusiasm in handling the visit of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. The NDA Government's soft corner for Israel was evident. It sought to strengthen ties with Israel grossly ignoring the Palestinian cause. It is time for the UPA Government to undertake some course correction on the issue.
