Maoists blast two launches

GUNTUR:
Maoists, belonging to the Krishnapatti dalam, blasted two launches and a barge in the district on Saturday night.
People were using them to reach Putlagudem village close to Pulichintala project site.
Close to Madipadu, where the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, had laid the foundation for the project, the barge and launches were blasted by 25 armed Maoists.
Naxalites left a note at the blast site alleging that the Government was not sincere with regard to peace talks and resorting to fake encounters.
