GUNTUR: In tune with the new liquor policy of the State Government, the district administration issued a notification, inviting tenders for the grant of licenses to liquor shops in various places across the district. The district Collector, G. Jayalakshmi, in a press release said that the number of lease licenses to be granted was 342 and they would be done through sealed tenders. The process would be taken up on June 2 at the Brahmananda Reddy Stadium from 10 a.m. onwards, according to the Collector.
