Raavi Narayana Reddy birth anniversary on June 5

HYDERABAD:
The 97th birth anniversary of Raavi Narayana Reddy, one of the top leaders of the Hyderabad Liberation Struggle and Telangana Armed Struggle, will be celebrated here on June 5.
Ch. Rajeswara Rao, secretary of the Telangana Martyrs Memorial Trust, said in a press release that the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, would be the chief guest. Ch. Hanumantha Rao, former Member of the Planning Commission, would preside over the function to be organised at Raavi Narayana Reddy auditorium, Banjara Hills.
G. S. Bhalla, professor of JNU, would deliver the Raavi Narayana Reddy Memorial Lecture on `Crisis in the agricultural sector after reforms'. He would also receive the Raavi Narayana Reddy Memorial Social Scientist Award for 2005 from Dr. Reddy.
