New Delhi: The Indian wrestlers came up with a splendid show, bagging two silver and five bronze medals, in the 18th senior Asian wrestling championships for men and women held at Wuhan, China. Alka Tomar (59-kg) and Geetika Jakhar (63-kg) won silver, while Meena (51-kg) took the bronze in the women's event. The men's team clinched four bronze medals — one in Greco Roman and three in freestyle. Olympian Mukesh Khatri won the bronze in the 55-kg category, while Ramesh Kumar (74-kg), Anuj Kumar (84-kg) and Palwinder Cheema (120-kg) finished on the podium in freestyle, according to a release from the Wrestling Federation of India. — PTI
