BANGALORE: East Zone recorded an innings and 67-run victory over South Zone on the final day of the National Cricket Academy's inter-zonal championship here on Monday. South Zone, resuming at the overnight score of 158 for eight, was bowled out for 196. The match between North Zone and Central Zone, however, ended in a draw. Central Zone, which conceded a first innings lead of 192 runs, made 196 for five wickets in its second knock. The scores: South Zone 187 and 196 in 65.3 overs lost to East Zone 450. Central Zone 135 and 196 for five (Madhur Khatri 47 n.o., Shan-e-Alam 72) in 88 overs drew with North Zone 327.
