THRISSUR: An eight-year-old girl and her 72-year-old grandfather lost their lives when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a private bus at Kuttur near the city on Monday morning. The police gave the name of the deceased as Veluthath Ramakrishnan of Pambur and Athira. Athira's father, Sureshbabu, 38, who was driving the autorickshaw, and her brother, Manukrishna, 12, have been admitted to West Fort Hi-tech Hospital with serious injuries. The family members were on a visit to a temple in the city.
